I'm Louise, a mother of two boys who are seven years apart.  I am a  full-time working mother, handling campaigns for a telecommunications company in Manila.
As any regular mother, I don't stop looking for ways to enable me to give the best for the family, especially the kids.  Hence, an 8 to 5 job is not enough.  I dabble in sideline retailing businesses through direct and on line selling.  I am fortunate to have a talent in singing so I make use of it wisely by forming an acoustic band called Euphony  together with my hubby. I was also hired by a company to be their hotline voice recording talent for almost 4 years.
Since I had an experience in theater, I also tried my luck as a TV commercial (TVC) talent.  I started doing TVCs in 2007 and paused in 2010 after I gave birth to my youngest.  I was able to do four TVCs to date:2 for Jollibee, 1 for Joy Dishwashing Liquid and 1 for Tide.

On Blogging

I have been blogging since 2005 but it was just a personal journal.  I paused for a while and after some soul searching, last July 1, 2012, a spark in my heart snapped me which gave way to the birth of Mommy Practicality.

Why that name?  I am a mommy and like many mothers, I look for the practicality value in almost everything, such as but not limited to my purchases, product choices for my kids and the whole family and our travels, without sacrificing quality.

I blog because it's a passion I need to fulfill and I am happy doing it.

Mission and Vision

My blog mission is to share my experiences and be of help to fellow mothers, parents and women who regularly search online reviews and information on almost anything related to their everyday lives.
The vision is to be able to contribute to the bloggers' online community support system.  Through sharing and helping, we can make a big difference in the lives that we touch.
